It doesn’t get any better than this!
It’s been cold and dreary here, so a while back I decided to escape for a few days to Southern Utah where it’s relatively warm and sunny.
I took my fishing pole and borrowed a friend’s kayak hoping to catch my dinner…
The contrast between southern and northern Utah is amazing. Where I live in the northern mountains, there are trees, scrub oak and sage, the mountains are dramatic and well, rocky. The weather in the north is cold and snowy all winter and cool and breezy most of the summer. In southern Utah there’s still some sage brush and the mountains are rocky, but the color and the feel of the scenery is entirely different and so beautiful. The weather is warm in the winter and hot and dry in the summer.
I highly recommend kayak fishing. I also highly recommend ending the day with Korean Food if you don’t catch any fish.
