Waiting for 90 days seems like an eternity, but a month has passed already, the house is liveable (barely) and warm and if it means I get this guy out of my life, it will be worth it.
The hard part is that I can ‘t work on the house until the ninety days are up and I am so anxious to hire someone else and get it done.
One of my neighbors is a contractor and he has introduced me to a nice gentleman who is willing to take this mess on a little at a time which will be perfect because I want to enjoy every minute of finishing this place and take my time picking out the floors, new countertops, garage doors, siding, etc. etc. It will be fun! Exciting! Creative!
Right now the plan is to hunker down and wait and try to be patient. It’ll be difficult, but I can do it. I’ve come this far after all.
to be continued….
