Ina’s Warm Brie and Apples

- 1 French baguette, sliced diagonally
- 12 oz of good French brie
- 6 T honey
- 3 T roasted, salted pistachios
- 4 oz greens
- 1 T syrupy balsamic vinegar
- 3 T good olive oil
- Kosher salt and pepper from the mill
- 1 large Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast for 6 to 8 minutes or until crispy
- Cut the brie into four wedges and arrange in a baking dish, drizzle the honey over it and sprinkle with the pistachios
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes at 350 degrees or until it starts to ooze a little
- Toss the greens with the balsamic vinegar and olive oil and arrange on a serving plate with the apples, brie and toast
