I grew up going to rodeos and was too much of a softie to enjoy them. The calf-roping in particular hurt my little 5-year-old heart. I still don’t really enjoy them to this day, though I do love a good pair of boots and a cowboy hat!
Fantastic pic’s! I love rodeo’s too. I miss going to the big one in Houston every year.
These firework pictures are really awesome.
Hope your well and everything is working out with your home.
I am trying to catch up with a few of my blogging buddies from the library today since I am still having computer issues.
Stay well my friend

“I like rodeos too, Ms. RMW ~~ It’s been a couple of years since we went. A friend from France, a young lady, was visiting and she had heard so much about bull riding that we had to take her. She really enjoyed herself.
My very first rodeo, the saddle bronc broke from the shoot, tore across the rink, slammed into the opposite fence, broke his neck and died. The cowboy jumped off right before the fence and was OK. The horse was dragged off via tractor. It took a really LONG time for me to learn to enjoy the sport and to realize that was a rare happening. Now days, I do enjoy the sport.
You got some really nice action shots.
I have not been to a rodeo in a while but I always have enjoyed it! There is so much fun for everyone and I admire those cowboys! Usually there is fireworks too and that is always great fun! Have a great day and thanks for this great I post!
I like rodeos too. Watching those guys ride those bucking broncos makes my back hurt. Now, I love jumping horses, but that’s a whole different horse sport. Makes my back feel limber. Great “I” post. Great pictures. I love the fireworks.
great photos–fireworks and rodeo!
Crazy how those rodeo riders ride bucking broncos!
I went to a rodeo once in Cody, Wyoming. One of the riders was hurt and taken away. The clown came out to distract.
Yippee! Rodeos are lots of fun! I graduated from a high school in New Mexico and we were able to go to a lot of rodeos! One of our daughters moved recently to where they were able to just go to a college rodeo and had loads of fun!
Blessings & Aloha!
Thank you dear friend for popping over!!

We did the whole nine yards, even the auction.

For frenchmen, rodeo is one of the most famous USA’s symbol ! Cowboy, farwest and all that. I love rodeo, even if I’m always scared for men !!

I’ve not seen a rodeo. The only one we have here is the Calgary Stampede. Too far from me. 🙁
Love your pics. I’ll live vicariously through those.
