I got up early to take a walk along the beach and took a shovel with me just in case I saw a razor clam or two….
I love the beach in the quiet of the early morning
At certain times of the year at low tide, you can just go along the beach and look for clams. You find them by looking for their air holes. If you see a little dimple in the sand with a hole in it, you start to dig and, if you are lucky, you get a couple of these to clean, and fry up for dinner. I got lucky today!

You really eat those? Maybe they look better in a batter. Loved how you practically had the beach to yourself.

So cool! I love playing with the little tiny clam-like things at the Jersey Shore…but they’re not edible.
