SLOWLY, SLOWLY

So, it appears as though winter is reluctantly letting go of my little canyon and spring is attempting to make an appearance.

The snow is slowly melting…..

Last night on the news they said that our snow pack is about 160% of normal and that it’s not a case of if we will have flooding, but when and where we will have flooding… Look out below!

Lovely to see the spring softening the harshness of the winter.

It’s melting, it’s melting. Do hope where you are there is no danger of flood.

One more bad thing about a hard winter: the flooding in the spring. Hope you’re safe from that.

Oh honey I hope you don’t have flooding. That would be horrible. So glad though that there is a sign of spring for you. Just can’t imagine the long winters you guys have there.
Thinking of you tonight and wanted to wish you a very Happy Easter

I have been wondering about the flooding…if we have a super fast warm up like we did last year it could be insane. I posted about the river behind my dads house last spring and just how much the spring thaw changed the lanscape…it was phenomenal! We shall see what Mother Nature has in store for us this year

We’ll have flooding in Summit County, CO, too – our snowpack is way above normal, and it just keeps snowing. Luckily, I live on high ground.

We got pet worms that will live in a compost bin at an Earth Day event. He is now content with his pets.
