Tomales Bay Oysters

I happened upon this place today and instantly fell in love.

You can just drive up and buy fresh oysters by the dozen, oysters that were in the bay two hours ago, oysters that are so fresh and wonderful, they make you forget about all the other oysters you’ve ever eaten…

The lovely people who run this place will even lend you their hot sauce!

If you love oysters, you must go to this place. Hop in your plane, train or automobile (or pickup truck) and drive here right now..I’ll wait for you!

Bring some horseradish with you please, and maybe a nice crisp Sauvignon Blanc (chilled, of course)…

I’ll just be here munching away and waiting for you…

How cool is this place! I love stumbling on a by-the-water place where the seafood is fresh and tasty. In Maine, there are many such which make for a great boat/lunch outing.
Thanks for your visit. Do come again.

What a trip you’ve had! Any sort of seafood eaten at the dock is the very best!

My husband needs to go on a road trip with you! The horseradish, the hot sauce, the chilled wine…and the ummm… slippery oysters!
