If you are looking for a nice, inexpensive red wine to drink with all of the pasta recipes I seem to be obsessed with lately, I’d suggest picking up a bottle of Cecchi Chianti. Open it a little before you’re planning on drinking it so it can breath a bit and you won’t be disappointed. I know that’s really hard to do, especially for instant gratification people like me, but it’s worth it with this wine.
It’s smooth, with a nice finish, tastes of blackberries and raspberries, and should pair well with any kind of pasta or even pizza.
