
Make a few jars of these and put them on all of the summer things! Hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, sandwiches. You can also eat them right out of the jar!

Pickled red onions to eat all summer long on everything!
Ingredients
Scale
1 medium red onion sliced as thinly as possible
1/2 t sugar
1/2 t salt
3/4 C champagne or other white vinegar
Instructions
Place sliced onions in a mason jar or any glass jar that can be closed tightly
Heat vinegar over medium heat
Add sugar & salt and stir until dissolved
Pour hot vinegar over onions and cover with a lid
Let sit until cooled then refrigerate until needed
They’ll last several weeks, but you’ll eat them before then!
