Red Wine

Marchesi Vineyard Emma Sangiovese

So, I’ve found a new wine for you to try: Marchesi Vineyard Emma Sangiovese. I’ve tried so many wines for you in the past few months (sigh) and none were “blog worthy” until I chanced on this one. I bought this last summer when I was in Oregon and haven’t had an excuse to open it.  I decided that Wednesday was a good enough excuse to open it and I’m so glad I did.

The vineyard/winery was lovely and I highly recommend you stop by and see them if you are in the area. Here’s their website: http://marchesivineyards.com/

It’s fruity and smooth with hints of strawberry, a more sophisticated wine than I usually drink. Just lovely….

I enjoy a glass of red wine, but I must confess I’m not very discriminating. A real wine connoisseur would think me a total pleb!

Sounds good! When I visited my sister in AZ we has a very delicious white wine from Snoqualmie Vinyards. I guess it was a Riesling not sure. But it was so good!~Ames
