A friend of mine made this, I begged her for the recipe!
This recipe actually made two small bundt cakes.
Ingredients:
3 eggs
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 8 oz jar lemon curd
large package of lemon instant pudding
1 boxed yellow cake mix
Beat the above ingredients until well blended
Pour batter into two small buttered/floured bundt cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean…
Let cakes cool completely.
Mix the following together:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup orange juice
couple of drops of yellow and red food coor to make the glaze orange
Drizzle the glaze on the cakes and garnish with fresh flowers of your choice. Here’s how they turned out:
It’s a very impressive cake with a very little amount of work!

I agree with pondside. However I should know better to come here before breakfast. My two favorite flavors, lemon and orange.
Hum, wonder what I can do to improve my oatmeal?

I love the idea of adding lemon curd to the cake part. I bet that makes it incredibly moist and dense.
Yum.
And what a lovely fall cake. You could almost modify this just a bit and shape it like a pumpkin! That would be a cool trick. Everyone would be expecting the pumpkin flavor and then … SURPRISE!
Thanks for a delicious link this week for Alphabe-Thursdays summer school!
A+

Last week, you gave us pie. This week you give us an incredible looking bundt cake. I sense a theme here 🙂 I love all the recipes you’re sharing with us. I just really regret that I don’t have things available here. I’m going to bake to my hearts content when I go home for Christmas 🙂
