I decided I needed one more day in the Columbia River Gorge, so I stopped at Phelps Creek Vineyards.
The tasting room is in the pro shop of a golf course, so I got to combine two of my passions, golf and wine! I played 18 and then stopped by the tasting room where there is usually some sort of party going on.
Today was no exception. They had a food pairing and tasting going on. I love this idea! There were all kinds of cool appetizers and little bites of food paired with one of their wines.. It was so much fun!
So…if you are ever in the Hood River area and have a hankering for golf and/or great wines and/or some sort of party, stop here Phelps Creek Vineyards
