SALMON FISHING

I’m on vacation this week salmon fishing in Oregon, but I didn’t want to miss class, so I fired up the laptop to send a few pictures of my trip.  I caught a 20 lb. Chinook Salmon this morning in Garibaldi, Oregon!

Here are a few pictures of the marina where we chartered the boat…

The weather has been gorgeous here and I’m truly enjoying my trip but I can’t wait to get home and start cooking with this beautiful salmon!

Yum! Salmon! I went on a salmon fishing charter once. Enjoyed salmon steaks on the grill!

Mr. Jenny will be so envious. I really miss our trips to Oregon. Our daughter used to live in Eugene and I would drive up to see her every six weeks or so! The adventures we had will remain forever in my memories.

Thanks for this sweet post from emerald green Oregon!

I look forward to seeing you each week!

    Have fun and

    A+

Fresh salmon! There is nothing better. I used to live in Victoria BC and go shrimp fishing. It has such a different taste when its fresh. Lucky your!

    How fun!

I was salmon and but (halibut) fishing in Alaska a couple years ago with ‘the boss’ on his yacht. The fishing and just yacht life was quite the experience. What a rush when the catch happens!

Looks amazing! We just got back from a couple of days on the shore in southern Washington– we had stormy weather the first day, but the next day it was gray, but not windy or cold, and we walked for miles along the sandy beaches. How has your weather been?

How on earth did I miss this post last week? I usually read all of them , even if they are not the even or odd I am supposed to comment on.
Well anyway, I have to say that I LOVE these pics!!! Salmon is my favorite food EVER!!!! I almost used Salmon as my S word.
Glad you got to see some of Oregon and Washington. Probably some of the most beautiful places on earth.
