Red Wine

Crimson & Clover, over and over

crimson&clover

This song made my teenage heart go pitter patter every time I listened to it (which was A LOT). It was originally recorded by Tommy James and the Shondells, but Joan Jett did a version of it that I love also.

So in an effort to recapture my long lost youth, when I saw this little number in the wine store I picked it up. I typically love anything Concannon makes and this was no exception. It’s a nice jammy easy drinking red. I wasn’t too excited about my first glass, but after it sat a little while on the counter it opened up and tasted like an entirely different wine. So I’d suggest you open it and let it sit a while before you drink it – if you can (it’s always difficult for me to let a wine sit…)

Ahhhh, now I don’t hardly know her

But I think I could love her

Crimson and Clover

Ah when she comes walking over

Now I’ve been waitin’ to show her

da da da da da da

Crimson and clover over and over

sigh…..

I might be around the same age as you. I remember that song too! I’m normally not a wine drinker, but that name has me tempted.

You really know your readers. Wait for the wine? I’ll try. But the song brings back lots of memories.

That oldie but goodie is a favorite from my past, too. And it makes a good name for the wine!

    =)

Tommy James and the Shondells came to mind when I read your title! I’ll have to check out the wine.

funny how when you see or hear things, they remind you of your youth. Didn’t know that about wine, letting it sit. I’m not a big drinker… {:-D

I have that on my pool playlist, actually!

    It’s such a funny song!

My husband would be thrilled if I’d get this wine for him to help drown out the volume I listen to my music while I swim!

Thanks for a clever link for the letter C.

    A+
