If you haven’t had a minty mojito yet this summer, you better get cracking because mojito weather isn’t staying around much longer. Rumor has it there might be snow this weekend way high up in the Unitas. It’s still warm here though, so I’m trying to get in as many summer cocktails as possible!
Minty Mojito
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 shot rum
- 2 lime wedges
- 5 or six mint leaves
- 1 shot simple syrup
- club soda
Instructions
- muddle the mint with the simple syrup in the bottom of a glass
- add rum and stir
- fill glass with club soda
- squeeze in lime and drop in glass
That looks mighty refreshing! I even still have mint growing. We’ll soon get snow, too.
PS I love the new look of your blog!
Thanks, Barb!
I’m happy with how it turned out…
RMW
RMW I feel as though this is perfect timing for us! We’re going into warmer weather now 😀
You should try it Lorraine, I’ll bet you like it!
Enjoy the warmer weather!
You are so adept in making/tasting drinks of all kinds! I’m a coffee and tea person, so the blackberries would be the only thing I would grab right now. But undoubtedly if I would have people around me who knew how to mix drinks I would like some!
Hmmm. Sounds very goood! And the weather is supposed to be hot at the end of the week. 😉
