White Wine

Tiefenbrunner’s Pinot Grigio

I opened a bottle of this to drink with some grilled shrimp last weekend.

The wine had some nice fruit undertones. There were elements of peach and pear with a nice level of acidity that makes it very food friendly. Pinot Grigio is not my favorite white, but this had more body and character than the average. It was absolutely perfect with the shrimp!

Great summer wine!!!

I am learning so much about wine from you. I like wine but I don’t drink a lot of it.

Love the label. Since I’m not much of a wine drinker
that’s how I usually choose bottles…much to my husbands dismay.

He will give me a slightly terrified look and inquire, “Why did you buy this?”

“Oh, but look how pretty the label is!”

    He is not amused.

Thanks for a terrific link this week.

    A+

I wonder if sauteeing (did I spell that right?) frozen shrimp (all we get here in Tucson)in this wine would make it taste fresher. Do you know??

I’m not a big fan of wine but the fruity undertones makes me a bit curious about how this one tastes 🙂

I’m not a huge white wine drinker (although I love me some bubbly) but when I do I love pinot grigio. I’ll have to try that.

May I just say that your comment made me laugh so hard I startled B.
