Creamy Mushroom Pasta

Mushroom Pasta

Creamy, rich and satisfying, this is the perfect way to enjoy mushrooms. It’s comfort food that’s easy to put together and easy to eat . You can’t really go wrong with that combination.

Creamy mushroom pasta, simple and delicious

Ingredients

Scale

2 T butter

14 ounces of fresh mushrooms, chopped 

3/4 C chicken broth

3/4 C heavy cream

2 T lemon juice

2 T Creme Fraiche

1 lb of linguine or spaghetti

1/2 C grated Parmesan 

Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet

Add the mushrooms and cook for 4 or 5 minutes over medium heat

Add the stock, cream, creme fraiche and lemon juice, let simmer for 10 minutes or so over low heat while you make the pasta

Cook the pasta according to the directions on the package

Drain

Toss pasta with mushroom sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan
