When I think of ham, I think of Holidays! Parties!
I’m here to tell you, though, that Ham can be Tuesday!
All it takes is a precooked ham and Ina’s glaze and you, too, can have ham anytime you like. This took me an hour and 15 minutes total and in that time, I baked a few potatoes and threw together a simple salad.
Who knew Tuesday night was a Holiday!

What a ham! Love this. I so seldom cook a ham as there are mostly just two of at home now. I do sometimes cook one for one of the choirs I direct and then I have the leftovers for bean soup or Denver omelets. Now that I’m back in Colorado again, I’ll have to try this and then make an omelet. Happy Ina Friday and have a great weekend. Email me if you’re ever down in the Springs!

Mmmmm – a ham just says ‘celebration’! I haven’t tried Ina’s glaze yet, but now I think I’d better. We have ham at New Year and Easter and any time I crave that wonderful salty taste, to be followed by pea soup with a lovely ham bone.

I served ham every Christmas in the days when I was the one who held the celebratory dinner. Mustard and brown sugar used to be the coating….now I just buy a Honey-Baked. 🙂
Never knew Ina used chutney. That’s a great idea.

It is so funny how certain meals, like ham, only seem to be made during the holidays. And for no explicable reason!

Just put a small ham on my grocery list. Since I am heading to my son’s house it will be a real treat with my scalloped potatoes and salad. Thanks
