It’s lobster week here at RMW – kind of like shark week, but less scary…
Up today, we have Ina’s Lobster Salad, which is, like all of Ina’s recipes, perfectly delicious.
I made this for a pool party and it was sooooo good.
I spread it on cocktail bread instead of endive because I couldn’t find any endive in my market. Fancy crackers would work also.

It is very hard to find lobster here but will save this just in case. lol
Every time I visit I am in awe of your pics. You really know what your doing behind the camera and in the kitchen.
I am in my fifth day of a stomach virus so I am not eating or cooking these days. I am tired of moaning and want to be well again. lol
Hope your doing good and as always I love it when you drop by for a visit.
Love
Maggie

I love lobster salad or as my Mom, who hails from Maine would say, “lobstah salad.” We tend to make it and eat it more simply, but love the idea of adding capers and dill! Now, if it were only easier to find lobster in the desert!

RMW I love the addition of capers, celery and dill to add so much flavour to the mayonnaise! 😀

Easy enough even for me – and I love lobster!

Even though I love lobster, I have never cooked them at home. Your lobster salad looks perfect for a summer lunch, or dinner or whenever. it looks so so good.

As a true Blue Noser (what Nova Scotians are called by the rest of Canada) I can’t pass by a recipe with the work ‘lobster’ in it. This one looks delicious and so does the last post. I have a feeling that there will have to be lobster in this house before the weekend is over.
Can you advise me on how I can follow your posts or get a notice of when you post?

I dunno, Lobsters can be pretty scary, (the price tag part). I think this sounds wonderful. Ina is just so reliable with her recipes. Pinned.

Glad it all worked out ok on the blog. I DO eat lobster, so I’ll eat Chaya’s share. We spent two weeks in Canada and NE in June and ate a lot–never enough. Beautiful appetizer. I have great memories of an aunt who loved and made a great lobster dish quite like this—I’ll have to try it now.
