Simple Prime Rib

Prime Rib

There really isn’t anything more impressive for a Holiday Table (or any other kind of table) than a big, beautiful prime rib. This is a simple, but so delicious recipe that will wow your family and friends. Serve with a hearty red wine and some horseradish on the side.

Simple prime Rib

Juicy, delicious prime rib cooked to perfection

Ingredients

1 shallot, peeled

2 garlic cloves, peeled

few sprigs of fresh thyme and rosemary

2 T olive oil

1 t salt

2 t ground pepper

1 prime rib, about 4 lbs 

Instructions

Place all ingredients except prime rib in a blender

Pulse until combined, but not pulverized

Spread on meat 

Cook in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1/ 1/2 to 2 1/4 hours or until meat reaches an internal temperature of about 140 degrees for medium
